Why I Am Offering Myself to Serve Boito Ward

Boito Ward deserves a strong voice, effective representation, and leadership that turns ideas into action. I am offering myself to serve because our community holds enormous, largely untapped potential — hardworking people, fertile land, talented youth, and a culture of resilience. Too many opportunities pass us by simply because we lack consistent follow-up and strategic advocacy.

Representation That Puts Boito Forward

Opportunities from county and national government, development partners, and private investors rarely reach communities that are not visible, organised, and well represented. My role will be to make Boito visible — to be a bridge between our people and the decision-makers, and a consistent champion for the projects that improve daily life.

Leadership That Follows Through

Projects do not fail because communities lack ideas. They fail when no one follows up. The Iriamaina Project is one example of a vision that deserved sustained leadership. As your representative, I will push for accountability, continuity, and the successful completion of development projects that directly benefit our people.

Investing in Education

My journey from Emmanuel JC Academy to Tenwek Boys High School and on to Chuka University (2020–2024) taught me that education remains the most powerful tool for transforming a community. Our primary and secondary schools across Boito deserve real investment in infrastructure, technology, and learning opportunities — because the future of this ward is sitting in our classrooms today.

Empowering a New Generation

Previous generations could rely on inherited land. Today, that reality has changed. The future belongs to knowledge, skills, innovation, and enterprise. My late grandfather, Johanna Chepkwony, often reminded us:

"Your land is in your heads."

Our young people are not lazy. They rise before dawn, ready to work — but too often without jobs, capital, or pathways. People succeed when systems work, and building those systems is the work of leadership.

Building Through Partnerships

Development is not only about government funding. A modern representative must also attract investors, engage development partners, and connect local enterprises to opportunity. Boito has the people and the potential; what we need is leadership that connects those strengths to the right partners.

A Voice for Every Resident

I am committed to being a voice for our farmers, youth, women, entrepreneurs, and elders — for every resident who believes Boito can achieve more. Leadership is not about power. It is about service, listening, and ensuring no community is left behind.
